Terracotta Robed Figure
Cypriot terracotta figure of robed man. Flat mould-made ‘Asiatic’, or ‘Assyrian’ man. Pressed into one-piece mould. Torso only (head lost), upper body of terracotta male figure with right arm across chest. Robe is scalloped, garment with dentate fringe, painted red. Pale buff Cypriot fabric with common black and white inclusions between <0.5mm and (rarely) 4mm across.
