Bronze Lotus Lamp Stand
Lower part of the top of a bronze lamp-stand or incense burning stand; cylindrical socket surmounted by two inverted calices or clusters of drooping lotus petals supporting a shallower socket that fitted into the upper part; the lower shaft is decorated with incised parallel lines at the top and bottom; the upper socket has a small depression surrounded by a raised lip, possibly to take some sort of securing rod.
