Pottery jug in White Painted ware; baggy ovoid body with a wide, splaying neck and trefoil mouth; flat vertical handle from shoulder to rim; cream-white clay and slip, decorated in black paint: single band around the junction of the body and neck, solid handle and complex abstract decoration of chevrons, darts, swastikas and concentric ellipses beneath the spout; pair of eyes on the mouth.
