Gilded Silver Bust Plaque

Square, leaf-gilded silver plaque in the form of a bust of two naked women framed by a beaded surround; very thin, single sheet of metal; detail in very high, repoussé relief; each woman has prominent breasts, long hair falling to their shoulders and wears which leaves the hair exposed; the plaque is pierced at each corner, probably for attachment to a backing material; part of the upper portion of the plaque is missing.
