Standing Woman Figurine

Terracotta figurine of a standing woman holding a jar on her head; hand-made. The base of the figurine splays outwards to provide support. Her left hand is raised supporting the vase, the right is placed by the side. Large pellet ears and a prominent nose, also separately attached. She wears a long pendant (?) around her neck which hangs as far as the naval or waist; it consists of a single strand, flanked by dots. The jar on her head is a biconical amphora on a flat base; pair of opposing horizontal handles positioned mid-body; slightly everted neck. Made of buff fabric decorated in White Painted technique: horizontal wavy line on the jar, black lines around the shoulders and along each side of the body, eyes also painted black as is the pendant, black band separating the head from the vase.
