Bichrome Red Jar
Large pottery jar in Black-on-Red/ Bichrome Red ware; globular-ovoid body on a high ring base; short, cylindrical neck with a rounded, swollen rim; two large horizontal handles with knobs on the top; buff-pink clay and lustrous red slip, decorated in black paint: bands around the body and neck farming large and small concentric circles, zig-zags on the neck on reserved buff clay surface, solid handles and base; surface worn in many places.
