Bichrome Figural Oinochoe
Pottery oinochoe or jug with figural decoration in Bichrome ware; squat globular body on a small, flat base; wide, slightly concave neck and a trefoil mouth; arching handle form shoulder to rim; cream clay and slip, decorated with brown and purple paint in Free Field style: two birds in flight, painted in silhouette with cross-hatched body, facing a geometric motif of three brown lines intersecting with three purple ones; pair of eyes on the spout; part of the spout is missing.
