Terracotta Painted Bell
Terracotta bell; wheel-made; slightly convex, conical body; small knob handle on top flaring outwards from concave juncture with body; single suspension hole between knob and body cut at a diagonal angle through the clay; pale buff clay decorated on exterior with alternating bands of purple-brown and red paint; inside plain; surface very worn and much of the paint is very faint; several prominent scrape marks on outer surface; rim is chipped in places.
