Lotus Bronze Stand
Top of a bronze lamp-stand or incense-burning stand made in one piece; inverted eight-leaved calyx with a disc above decorated with incised horizontal lines, from which rise three elongated lotus leaves joined at the top by a ring with circular profile; lotus leaves have triangular profiles with chamfered edges; within the calyx is a broken cylindrical socket probably indicating the existence of a further calyx below, now lost; a small part of the disc separating calyx and lotus leaves is missing; metal quite corroded in places.
