Pottery jug in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; ovoid-piriform body on a flat base; wide conical neck with pinched rim; arching handle from shoulder to rim; made from buff clay with bright red slip, decorated in black paint: eyes on the mouth, ladder pattern on handle, three groups of three concentrics on each side of shoulder and five rings on body; fine horizontal lines around the body just below the handle line; rim chipped.
