Black-On-Red Jug
Pottery jug in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; globular body on a ring base; narrow tubular neck with a slight ridge half-way up; flat everted rim; arching handle from shoulder to neck ridge; buff clay and somewhat lustrous red slip, decorated with black paint: vertical concentric circles on each side with a bull's-eye motif in the centre, band of horizontal concentrics around the shoulder, parallel lines on the neck, solid lip and handle.
