Black-on-Red Juglet
Pottery juglet in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; tall conical body with a carinated lower part on a flat base; flaring trumpet mouth; pronounced ridge at the junction of body and neck; single loop handle from mid-body to below neck-ridge; made of fine buff clay covered with a lustrous red slip decorated with black paint: bands of horizontal lines around the body, solid bands on the neck; rim chipped, surface worn and blackened (possibly from firing).
