Black-on-Red Oinochoe
Pottery oinochoe or jug in Black-on-Red ware; globular-ovoid body on a low ring base; short broad neck and trefoil lip: groove at the junction of shoulder and neck; flat handle rising from shoulder to the rim; buff clay with a red-orange polished slip, decorated in black paint: row of regularly spaced concentric circles around the body of the vase, black bands at junction of shoulder and neck and on the rim, zig-zag motive down handle; lower part of vessel is cracked.
