Black-on-Red Lekythos
Pottery barrel-shaped lekythos or juglet in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; barrel-shaped body with flattened ends; narrow neck with handle ridge, flaring outwards to a trumpet mouth; single small arching handle from shoulder to neck ridge; buff clay and polished red slip, decorated with black paint: parallel bands around the body, bull's-eye motifs in the form of a spiral on each end, bands around the neck and mouth; complex dart motif on the shoulder.
