Black-On-Red Juglet
Pottery juglet in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; ovoid body on a slightly raised disc base; narrow neck flaring upwards towards a plain rim; pinched spout; arching handle from mid-body to the rim; made of pink-buff clay covered with a lustrous red slip, decorated with black paint: parallel bands around the body, single band around the junction of body and neck, ladder motif on the handle; part of the neck missing, surface pitted and slip worn in places.
