Pottery amphora or jar in White Painted ware; wheel-made; globular-biconical body on splaying foot (incomplete and cracked); wide concave neck flaring to an everted rim; pair of opposing loop handles; orange-red clay and cream slip, decorated with matt paint: broad bands on the body, shoulder and neck, sold handles and foot, two wavy lines in the frieze between the handles; surface abraded and chipped in places.
