Pottery strainer jug in White Wheelmade III ware; ovoid body and long, narrow, slightly concave nack leading to a plain, everted rim; vertical strap handle from shoulder to rim; trough-shaped spout at shoulder with perforations in body of vessel for straining; ring base; decorated in matt dark-brown clay with narrow parallel lines on body and around base of neck; concentric semi-circles filled with rows of dots on shoulder.
