Bronze Wheel and Axle Stand
Pair of wheels, axle and attachment column from a bronze stand; originally four pierced flanges at top of cylindrical column (two remain); column arrached to cylindrical axle; axle ends protrude beyond wheel hubs, hammered flat to keep wheels in place; ten spokes link large hub to wheel felloe and broad tyre; wheels probably made by lost-wax casting; severely oxidised.
