Pottery amphora; Bucchero Wheelmade ware; wheel-made; tapering neck with slightly stepped rim, four horizontal ridges on flat rim exterior; two vertical handles with thumb grips from below rim to shoulder; low ridge at neck to body join; elongated ovoid body with ring base; decorated with flat vertical relief ridges down body, formed by shaving clay either side of ridge; thin matt mottled red to black slip; fabric buff.
