Pottery strainer jug in Base Ring II ware; hand-made; globular body in tankard-form on a ring base with a wide neck; everted rim and solid top with five strainer holes; tubular spout and strap handle from rim to shoulder; orange-buff clay with mottled orange-brown lustrous slip, white painted lattice decoration.
