Head and neck of hollow terracotta female figurine in Base Ring II ware; handmade; flat head and triangular face; pellet eyes surrounded by rings of clay; small projecting ears of applied clay shaped into flap-like curves; small pointed nose; decorated with bands of black and red matt paint around the neck; solid black paint on top and back of head representing hair; continuous eyebrow line and ringlets on temples also in black paint; orange-pink clay with buff slip burnised or shaved with a knife.
