Lapis Lazuli Cylinder Seal
Lapis lazuli cylinder seal; hole drilled through long axis; gold caps with convex outer face and soldered suspension ring at either end; engraved with two scenes of a deity and a worshipper, a male deity holds a sword with a bucranium in the field above, a female deity is next to a tree with a bird above; the seal is old Babylonian but four characters in the Cypro-Minoan script were added on Cyprus.
