Base Ring Bull Rhyton
Pottery Base Ring II ware bull rhyton; hand-made; lower face forms tubular spout with hole through mouth; originally applied pellets for eyes, now missing; short concave neck with flaring rim on shoulder of bull, with strap handle from rim to rear of vessel; dewlap and tail moulded in relief; decorated with painted white stripes at front and rear and hatched rectangles down body; thin matt brown slip; fabric medium brown with grey core; tips of horns missing.
