Female terracotta figure of Base Ring II ware wearing a flat cap and holding her arms across her middle; hand-made, hollow construction; large head, elongated neck and cylindrical body widening at hips and tapering towards small feet; eyes formed from applied pellets; nose and breasts pinched; incised detailing for mouth, fingers, toes and pubic triangle; pierced hole for navel; very worn painted decoration of black and dark brown bands around neck.
