Base Ring Double Juglet
Pottery Base Ring I ware double juglet; hand-made; each juglet has a piriform body on a trumpet-shaped ring base (one damaged), and a tall narrow neck with an everted rim (both damaged); single shared strap handle from the rims to the shoulders. Made of orange clay with white mica with a lustrous brown-grey slip; aligned suspension holes at the top and bottom of handle made before firing; relief circles on the necks; slip worn in numerous places.
