Base Ring Strainer Jar
Pottery: Base Ring I ware strainer-jar; hand-made; ovoid-piriform lower body on a ring base; cylindrical upper body or neck with an everted rim; perforated disc across the mouth with a large central opening for straining the contents; short tubular spout at the 'shoulder'; with wish-bone handle. Made of buff-orange clay with a a grey core; part of the base is missing, also damage to the handle and spout.
