White Painted Triglyph Jug
Pottery jug or small tankard in White Painted VI Soft Triglyph Style ware; hand-made; baggy globular body with a flat base; wide neck with an everted rim; high vertical handle (now broken) from shoulder to rim; buff-cream clay and slip, decorated in dark red paint: groups of three vertical lines or 'triglyphs' on the body, four parallel lines around the neck and dotted ring within circular wavy line on the base.
