Pottery zoomorphic rattle; White Painted VI ware; hand-made; two piercings represent eyes and clay pinched into points to represent ears; high vertical handle from top of head to shoulder; body elongated ovoid with pointed base; excess clay vertically shaved from body in leather-hard stage; painted dark brown bands at neck and down body (now worn); fabric pale buff; clay pellets inside to create rattle.
