White Painted Pendent Line Jug
Pottery jug in White Painted Pendent Line Style; hand-made; globular-ovoid body on a rounded base; narrow concave neck with a flaring mouth; single rounded handle arching from shoulder to rim. Made of fairly fine buff clay with similar slip, worn in places decorated with red-brown paint: vertical wavy lines framed by bands of parallel lines from the shoulder to the base; two bands formed of parallel lines just below the junction of body and neck; horizontal bands on the neck.
