Pottery jug in White Painted IV ware; hand-made; carinated body on a low foot; short neck and narrow everted rim; high vertical handle from shoulder to rim (now missing); buff clay and slip, decorated in dark brown paint: cross-hatched triangles and wavy-lines, on the base intersecting lines forming a cross, short oblique strokes in pairs on the rim.
