Pottery storage jar (amphora) in Red Slip ware; hand-made; spherical body on a round base; short neck with a horizontal everted rim; pair of opposing arched, horizontal handles; made of buff clay covered with a thin lustrous slip, fired a reddish-brown colour; decorated with raised bands and wavy-lines; rim chipped and surface worn in places with much accretion.
