Bronze Tanged Spear-Head
Bronze tanged spear-head; cast and hammered. Square-rectangular profiled shaft with small tang; 'Heart-shaped' shoulders; fairly prominent mid-rib with lozenged profile. Surface and edges corroded in places. Dimensions: Thickness: 1.00 - 1.10 centimetres max (top of mid-rib/base of shaft) ; Length: 29.50 centimetres max ; Weight: 247.87 grammes; Width: 4 centimetres max.
