Limestone statuette of an oriental god or hero (?)

The pendants hanging from the ears indicate that the figure is of eastern origin (or a woman?). On the head is an oriental cap, the lappets of which fall forward onto the chest. Overall: 13 1/4 x 4 x 1 7/8 in. (33.7 x 10.2 x 4.8 cm)
