Terracotta head of a man
The manufacture of large scale hollow terracotta sculpture on Cyprus began in the mid-seventh century B.C. This is one of the finest examples of the "Neo-Cypriot" style, characterized by fine features, large ridged eyes, feathered eyebrows, and a lot of color. H. 8 3/4 in. (22.2 cm)
